Sadness hangs in our brains like a dense cloud. It’s called depression. Sometimes it feels like we’re lost in a dark labyrinth, unclear which way to go.

But, Depression is more than just a feeling of sadness. It’s like a heavy blanket that makes everything appear harder. Feelings of worthlessness are over the head and it is hard to sleep. It tells us we’re not good enough, and no one cares. But this is not true.

Getting past depression takes time and sensitivity, especially toward oneself. It is about understanding that we are not perfect, and that is okay. We are not here to be perfect. It’s only about finding small moments of happiness even when things appear difficult.

We’re not alone on this path. People understand and want to help. Your friends, family, and we (Student Celebrity) are with you. Together, we can find our way out of the darkness and into the light.
